What data do I collect?

I collect the following data:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, organisation, phone number, etc.)

 

How do I collect your data?

You directly provide me with most of the data I collect. I collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online on my website or on third party event pages such as Eventbrite or place an order for any of my products or services

  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey or provide feedback on any of my message boards, review pages or via email

  • Use or view my website via your browser’s cookies

 

How will I use your data?

I collect your data so that I can:

  • Process your order, event bookings and manage your training requirements

  • Email you with special offers on other products, services, and events I think you might like.

 

How do I store your data?

I securely store your data in my cloud-based and password protected Customer Relationship Management System.

 

I will keep your data for as long as is relevant to our business relationship or until you explicitly inform me to be removed.  I will delete your data by permanently deleting from the system and if hard copies exist of your data, these will be confidentially destroyed through shredding.

 

Marketing

I would like to send you information about my products and services that I think you might like.

 

If you have agreed to receive marketing, you may always opt out at a later date.

You have the right at any time to stop me from contacting you for marketing purposes.

If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please let me know.

 

What are your data protection rights?

I would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

 

The right to access – You have the right to request me for copies of your personal data. I may charge you a small fee for this service.

 

The right to rectification – You have the right to request that I correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request me to complete the information you believe is incomplete.

The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that I restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

 

The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to my processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

Cookies

Google Analytics are used on my website. Your activity on this site is monitored by cookies and the data will be used in an anonymised way to inform changes to my website.

 

Traffic log cookies help me analyse webpage traffic data and improve the user experience.

I only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Overall, cookies help me provide you with a better website by enabling me to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives me access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with me.

 

You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

 

Data Protection

I respect the need for robust data protection.

If the need arises to gather personal data from you, I will clarify the information I require and the purpose for which it will be used.

 

I collect and process personal data from clients for legitimate business purpose. Data will be collected with your consent, either via the ‘contact me’ page on the website, email or by telephone.

 

I use third party companies for marketing and business purposes. These include Mailchimp, Insightly, Xero, and Eventbrite.

 

I will not share or sell your personal information with any other third party.

When the need for the information has passed, all records of your data will be removed.

If you change your mind and want me to remove any data that you have provided me with, please get in touch and I will take immediate action.

 

Any complaints regarding your personal data can be raised with the Complaints Supervisory Authority at ICO.

 

Confidentiality

Any information that is shared during a training course or project engagement will not be shared or discussed with anyone else.

 

This information can include knowledge with regards the business structure, financial state, customers, employees and suppliers of the organisation or any personal information of delegates attending training courses.

I am committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised disclosure, I have measures in place to protect access to my technology.

 

I am careful to use private, password protected Wi-Fi at all times.
