We will prepare an outline of the training course, including learning objectives and course content based on the information provided by the client.
We will provide a cost for the training course (either an individual delegate fee or combined training session fee) based on the course content, duration, and location of the training course venue.
Clients will be invited to read, review, and amend any of the course content, duration, and number of delegates. Any amendments must be received before 5 working days of the training course commencing.
Training courses will be delivered at the client’s premises. If, for any reason, an alternative venue is required, we can offer suitable options at an additional cost to be discussed with the client.
A Letter of Engagement will be sent to the client for approval. Training courses will not commence until we have received a signed copy of the Letter of Engagement.
Our training courses include group participation and interaction. We advise that clients inform us of any delegates that may prefer a different approach to aid their learning.
In the unlikely event that the training course is cancelled or postponed by Helen Pettifer Training, we will endeavour to re-schedule a new date of commencement with the client on a date convenient to both parties.
In the unlikely event that the client postpones the training course, we advise that the client inform us in writing at the earliest opportunity and offer suitable dates for re-scheduling.
In the unlikely event that the client cancels the training course, the following cancellation fees apply:
a) Within 4 weeks of the training – no cancellation fees b) Within 2 weeks of the training – 25% of the fees c) Within 1 week of the training – 50% of the fees d) Within 48 hours of the training – 100% of the fees
All training material is included in the training course cost. If the client requires further copies of the training material, these can be supplied at additional cost.
All training material remains the copyright of Helen Pettifer Training and cannot be sold, copied, or used in any other manner to which it is intended without the strict permission of Helen Pettifer Training.
Fees will be charged on the basis detailed in the Letter of Engagement. Fees will normally be invoiced upon completion of the training or consultancy.
For new clients, a 50% deposit will be required in advance of the training or consultancy.
Fees for consultancy will be charged at either an hourly or a daily rate, as agreed with the client and detailed in the Letter of Engagement. Fees for training courses will be charged at either a delegate or session rate as agreed with the client and detailed in the Letter of Engagement.
In the event that the scope of work is amended in any way, we will bring any changes to the client’s attention and advise of any increase in fees.
As the work we provide is tailored to the exact needs of the client’s business, our fees reflect this and are charged accordingly.
Invoicing and Payment
Invoices for fees will be prepared in accordance to the terms agreed with the client and set out in our Letter of Engagement.
Prompt payment is appreciated, and full payment is expected within 14 days of the invoice date.
Any queries regarding an invoice should be raised with Helen Pettifer Training within 7 days of the invoice date.
Overdue invoices will be chased, and no additional work will be carried out until the payment has been received in full.
